Health Poverty Action has a Policy and Campaigns unit which advocates for the achievement of the right to health and on rights issues related to the socio-economic determinants of health. These include women’s and girls’ roles in decision making, empowerment of the poor to advocate on their own behalf, sexual and reproductive health rights, and meaningful involvement of marginalised groups in designing and monitoring government services.
