Trusts and Foundations

Information for trusts and foundationsSupport from trusts and foundations is vital to maintaining and strengthening the work of Health Poverty Action with communities across the world. Over the years, we have been grateful for the strong partnerships we have built with a number of them.

Strengthening our work

Many of our supporters choose to contribute towards our overall work. This enables us to direct funds to wherever the needs are greatest. It also strengthens our capacity to respond to emergencies – such as the Ebola crisis – and helps ensure our work is sustainable and effective in the longer term.

Project-specific support

We can also direct your support towards a specific project, theme or country we operate in. We work with hard-to-reach communities in 13 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America, with our projects covering a wide range of issues affecting people’s health, such as:

–          Maternal and child health

–          Disease control

–          Water and sanitation

–          Sexual and gender based violence

–          Livelihoods

–          Nutrition

If you would like to know which projects are current priorities for funding and may fit your interests, please get in touch. We will also be happy to discuss possibilities for longer-term strategic partnerships.

Will you partner with us?

We work to strengthen communities to become more resilient to the challenges they face and effect lasting impact on people’s health. Support from trusts and foundations is vital in making this possible.

We place great importance on providing timely, clear reports and updates. We believe that those kind enough to support us deserve to see the effect that their support is having on the people we work with – clearly and without jargon.

If you, or someone you know, is connected to a trust or foundation and would like to know more about how support for Health Poverty Action could make an difference, please get in touch with: Alastair McLernon (Trust Fundraising Officer) on a.mclernon@healthpovertyaction.org or 020 7840 3776.
