We work together with health workers, communities and activists across 15 countries to improve health and challenge the causes of poverty. 

Vietnam

In the remote, border areas of Vietnam, we are working with communities to tackle malaria. Meet Deiu, a community health worker using technology to track malaria outbreaks.

Cambodia

We work in the remote border regions of Cambodia to improve access to malaria diagnosis and treatment services and raise awareness of malaria prevention.

Laos

In southern Laos the rate of malaria is particularly high, accounting for 95% of cases in Laos. We work with communities who live, work and travel in the region to spread awareness about malaria prevention and provide treatment. China

Having completed our work to spread awareness about the health problems caused by tobacco, we are starting a new project supporting ethnic minority groups in Yunnan Province to access the government services they are entitled to.

Myanmar

In the remote and mountainous regions of Kachin, access to healthcare is difficult for many communities, who live far from the nearest health facility. We are working with communities, the government, and health workers like Khao to extend the reach of health services to even the most remote locations.

Namibia

In the remote area of Tsumkwe, we work together with the indigenous San people to improve their access to healthcare and education services. Meet Xao, a mother who is pregnant with her second child, and shares with us the importance of attending the health centre.

Zimbabwe

We work in Zimbabwe through strategic partnerships and research collaborations. We are currently working our partners to understand more about gendered violence & poor mental health among migrants in precarious situations. Community engagement and participatory research will inform the development tools and community-based solutions to break the cycle of poor mental health and improve migrants' wellbeing.

Malawi

Together with Find Your Feet Malawi, we are working with rural communities to ensure farmers have the training they need to grow enough food, and everyone has access to clean water and sanitation facilities. Rwanda

We work with young people in Rwanda to ensure girls have the facilities and support they need to stay in school all year round, and that all young people have the training they need to create a livelihood for themselves after they finish school. Kenya

We work with communities to improve their access to health, and support them to campaign against harmful practices such as FGM in their communities. Meet Mama Mathowe, a former circumciser who is now speaking out against FGM in her community.

Ethiopia

We work with nomadic pastoralists living in South Omo and Dollo Ado to improve their access to culturally appropriate maternal and child health services.

Somaliland

We are working with communities and the government to improve access to health, and tackle issues such as violence against women and FGM. Meet Aamiina, a young mother making use of the only shelter home for women in Somaliland.

Guatemala
