Finance Officer

Salary circa £28k – £32k per annum LONDON SW8

The primary responsibilities for the successful applicant will be to assist the head of finance in managing the programme finances of Health Poverty Action by: ensuring effective financial control and oversight of designated project/country office accounts and assisting with donor reporting and end-of-year financial statements.

Here at Health Poverty Action we work in 14 Countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America and want to hear from you if: you have financial accounting and bookkeeping experience in a small company or charity; if you are flexible and adaptable in your role; and, if you have excellent numeracy, spreadsheet and training skills.

Interviews: There will be a two stage interview process.

Informal interviews will take place on the week commencing 30 January 2017 (only shortlisted applicants will be contacted).

Individual Giving Officer

Salary circa £28,476 – £32,727 per annum LONDON SW8

Are you an Individual Giving Officer looking to develop and widen your experience? Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you keen to widen your skill set but not able to try new ideas in your current job?

If so, this individual giving role could be perfect for an ambitious fundraiser like you.

You’ll have the chance to work on cross-cutting initiatives and lead your own projects. You’ll be trusted to get on with things, and given the autonomy and support to develop your own ideas.

As well as bringing in new income, we’ll ask you to inspire and raise money from our existing supporters. This will involve creating engaging print and online communications and appeals throughout the year.

It’s an exciting and varied role, but don’t worry if you don’t hit every part of the Job Description. We punch above our weight, so we’re asking for a lot! Please still apply if you have the right attitude, ambition and ability to grow into the role.
