Under-resourced health systems, remote locations and discrimination can make it hard for health professionals working overseas to do their jobs. Despite the challenges they face they are still determined to deliver the best possible care to their patients, as do health professionals here in the UK.

‘As One’ is the campaign designed by UK health professionals who are unable to travel overseas, but still want to stand ‘As One’, to empower, to support and share expertise with colleagues working in challenging circumstances overseas, from right here in the UK!

Health professionals worldwide are working together ‘As One’ to make health for all a reality.

“I work alongside Health Poverty Action to ensure their maternal health project is reaching communities, in even the most remote areas. We visit people and ask about their health problems, as well as to perform check-ups and encouraging them to visit clinics if it is necessary."
