Are you a Community and Events fundraiser looking to develop and widen your experience?

Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you keen to widen your skill set but not able to try new ideas in your current job? If so, this role could be perfect for an ambitious fundraiser like you.

Health Poverty Action has an exciting portfolio of community fundraising campaigns, which has recently grown as a result of our new partnership with Find Your Feet. We are ready to grow these campaigns, as well as develop new initiatives to take our unrestricted fundraising to the next level.

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and strategic individual to manage and grow our community fundraising portfolio. This includes our increasingly successful Curry for Change campaign, school initiatives, and festive fundraising (carols, concerts and all things merry!).

You will also manage our London Marathon team, the Royal Parks Half Marathon, and Ride London. As well as recruiting, resourcing and building relationships with our participants, you will work closely with the Partnerships Manager to develop and organise bespoke events.

This year we are thrilled to benefit from a large match funding campaign between October and December 2019. You will have a pivotal role in the success of a variety of initiatives within this campaign. This is a remarkable opportunity to gain experience contributing to a large scale campaign while making a lasting mark with Health Poverty Action.

We are a strong and collaborative team; there are plenty of opportunities to work on cross-cutting initiatives with your colleagues.

You will be the critical driver of growing our community and events fundraising and ensuring that more people worldwide are able to realise their right to health.

This is an exciting and varied role, but don’t worry if you don’t hit every part of the job description. We have ambitious ideas and goals, but the most important thing to us is finding someone with the right attitude, ambition and ability to grow into the role.
