LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Fixed term up to 31 August 2022 (full-time)

DUTY STATION: Windhoek, Namibia

REPORTING: To the Project Coordinator

BENEFITS: NAD 144,612 per annum before deductions

About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed term contract that will run up to 31 August 2022. We are looking for an individual who can start as soon as possible. You will be part of a small but dynamic team in-country and will work closely with finance and programmes colleagues in our national office.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about promoting health and overcoming inequalities. This role will be involved in a new project that seeks to increase training on testing for COVID-19 and to increase access to tests and contact tracing in order to curb the spread of the virus. The Field Worker/Community Health Worker Supervisor will coordinate activities and support Community Health Workers (CHWs) and their training to ensure they can effectively test individuals who may have been exposed to COVID-19. You will be responsible for reaching out to people (contacts) who have been exposed to COVID-19 and providing AgRDT testing. You must be fluent in written and spoken English with demonstrable attention to detail and strong communication/listening skills.
