An enormous thank you to Richard Swan and London City Voices for choosing to support Health Poverty Action this year at their Christmas Concert. In previous years London City Voices have given up their evenings, sung for us in cold train stations and raised hundreds of pounds from the generous public. A particular highlight last year was when they managed to cheer up freezing cold Charing Cross commuters and even got the whole station to join them in carol singing!
This year they decided to give us goose bumps at their incredible Christmas Concert at the Troxy! The choir of 330 sang beautifully all night long with a selection of Christmas classics, Irish carols and even some special smaller group performances. Richard entertained the audience between songs and the whole evening was utterly magical.
The audience and choir were incredibly generous and in just one evening managed to raise an astonishing £1,291.30!
Support such as this makes a world of difference to our work- so thank you so much London City Voices and Richard for organising!
